Good points:
Easy to connect and works well even in duller conditions.
Bad points:
The test lights can be a bit confusing. See below.

GUIDANCE FOR THE SOLAR PANEL BASED ON MY EXPEREIENCE.

1 LED’s. SINGLE PRESS - These should light up when fully charged batteries are
installed all the way to GREEN.
2 LED’s. PRESS AND HOLD – These should light up according to the light value
reaching the solar panels AND FLASH on and off. Any colour up to green.
3 LED’s flashing on a SINGLE PRESS – IF the LED’s start the flash on and off this
indicates the batteries in the trail camera are falling below the required
minimum voltage value and need further charging (This would happen more
often during short days in winter and should cause no alarm)
4 CHARGING the Trail camera AND the solar panel batteries via main charger will
bring both back to full capacity quickly whereupon the LED’s will act as above 1
& 2.
5 I use a Recon Force Edge which takes 8 batteries (12 Volts) so the solar panel will
be struggling to maintain voltage as it has only 6 batteries (9 volts) BUT does a
good enough job topping up the 8 batteries and saves changing batteries every
2 days or so in winter.
6 It also depends on whether you are taking full 1080 videos at night using infra
red because this will deplete the batteries much faster. Unless you NEED video
I suggest taking single pictures when the nights are long and this will help
extend the batteries far longer. As an example I was using 20 second video and
full 1080 with only 1 second between each. My Eneloop Pro batteries ran out of
charge within 24 hours. But with the solar panel added I got almost 3 full days of
recording which equated to around 80 to 100 videos.

So to summarise - worth the money - YES definately.
Good points:
I łove it. Fully charged and some more, it's been a real battery saver. Bearing in mind it's December / January and the light isn't brilliant, the panel gas remained fully charged and has powered the camera well.
Bad points:
I would not use this in a public area unless it's very well hidden. It's big and obvious. Great for the garden though.

Good points:
A robust piece of equipment which is easy to set up and use. Very weatherproof and has good features such as charge checker and USB connection for charging boost. Tripod or similar mounting point is also very useful. Solar panel can be angled as required for best charging. Connects easily to Trail Camera and functions well.
Bad points:
None noted.

Excellent service from Wildviewcameras. The solar panel has exceeded my expectations. It’s been in the garden for the last 4 weeks, My trailcam is still showing 100%.
Nice size, can be mounted to a tree or put on a ground spike stick.
Bad points:
None
