Who we are...

Hi, we are Mike and Michele Booth and this is our business, to say we are passionate about animals and wildlife is something of an understatement! Our wildlife story began in 2006, helping to rescue, rehabilitate and release fox cubs back to the wild for the RSPCA and various local Wildlife Rescue Charities.

We had the perfect location in Surrey to do this, with a long garden backing onto meadows with a well developed tree line immediately opposite our back gate, it really was the M25 of wildlife, which included nightly visitors of badgers, deer, owls, hedgehogs etc. When our cub enclosures were not in use, they were used for other wildlife, such as young rescued Tawny Owls pre release from our location, hedgehogs and emergency wildlife rescues. In 2008 our Facebook page Foxyrehab was born, with the aim of sharing the cubs journey to release and beyond. We were active members of Surrey Wildlife Trust and West Surrey Badger Group.

Circumstances led to a move to Wiltshire at the end of 2012, and it soon became apparent that our new home was unfortunately not suitable for releasing rehabilitated wildlife with countryside ‘field sports’ happening a little too close for comfort and immediate neighbours that didn’t share our passion. However we still do what we can and help any wildlife that crosses our paths.

The birth of Wild View Cameras...

We have used wildlife watching trail cameras since 2008 to monitor our wildlife releases, closely watching their interactions with minimal interference from humans. So, in 2011 we started our family business selling wildlife watching trail cameras to like minded people. Since then, Wild View Cameras (www.wildviewcameras.co.uk) has sold 1,000’s of trail cameras and accessories to people just wanting to see what is visiting their garden but also to TV wildlife personalities like Nick Baker, various Universities, the BBC, Forestry Commission. Charities such as The National Trust, Wildlife Trusts, League Against Cruel Sports and the RSPB. We also supply to the Police to gain evidence of neighbour disputes, fly tipping, as well as remote property surveillance of building sites, holiday homes and stables etc.

In September 2017 our new website was launched with a new extended product range which will appeal to all of our customers old and new, with regular updates and additions. As a husband and wife team, we pride ourselves on our unrivalled customer service and our experience and background helps us provide technical knowledge to guide you to the right product. We are happy to help, advise and have a good chat about your wildlife watching adventures...

Testimonials

'Thanks so much for the fantastic service and beyond belief speedy delivery!! I set up both cameras last night and already have some stills of the badgers and footage of the fox using our Badger Gate in the perimeter fence. The product is fantastic and I thank you for your help.'
Zoe Ingram (Sustainability Co-ordinator) - Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals

'The Ltl Acorn trail cameras supplied by Wild View Cameras have proved very useful in gathering evidence of wildlife crime and the people who commit it. They are compact and have quality video, photograph and sound recording capabilities. The service from Wild View Cameras was excellent and I would have no hesitation in using them again. The people at Wild View Cameras use the products they sell on a daily basis and can therefore offer practical advice on usage. They are committed to supporting pro-wildlife organisations like the League Against Cruel Sports, Wildlife Trusts and the Badger Trusts'
Shaun Reeves (Investigations Officer) – League Against Cruel Sports

'Thank you for your excellent advice when we first thought about buying a camera to assist our survey work. We bought a basic field night camera from you and found it so valuable that we have since purchased many more over the years. The service and advice from Wild View Cameras was very helpful, especially when we accidently damaged one of them. Now used to monitor our semi wild Red Deer herd, which graze MOD land, monitoring their health without labour intensive intervention monitoring. I have recommended you to other wildlife NGO’s, some of whom have already purchased, and I would not hesitate to recommend you as a first class supplier of wildlife cameras.'
Dave Williams (Mammal Officer) – Surrey Wildlife Trust

'We purchased a camera from you, after explaining our needs. We found it to be a most valuable piece of equipment for our work with excellent results. We will purchase more from you to observe newly released badgers.Your advise on setting up most helpful and have recommended you to our adjacent badger groups'
Peter Eggleton (Field Officer) – West Surrey Badger Group

'I am a professional wildlife photographer, and looked at several different trail cameras before choosing a Little Acorn. Over all, I would recommend the trail cam, it will do the same job as more expensive cameras, and as for my suppliers Wild View Cameras, I found them to be reliable, knowledgable, and friendly, and would use and recommend them in the future'
Alan Seymour (Professional Wildlife Photographer) - Surrey

'Hi Wild View Cameras! You were kind enough to deliver a wildlife camera personally to us in Pirbright a few weeks back, and we thought you might be interested to know how much fun we have been having with it. We have lived here for 16 years but we had no idea how much wildlife came so close to our garden. We have filmed a deer and her fawn, we know deer are in the area but we had not seen one this year and had no idea there was a fawn.  We have also seen a fox and even caught a fleeting shot of a bat. The quality of the pictures is excellent, and it has been very easy to use.'
Julia and Phil - Pirbight, Surrey
