Delivery, warranties and returns
Please allow up to 5 days for UK delivery. Upto 14 days for European or International deliveries.

Please note that following the UK's exit from the EU, deliveries to EU member countries will incur import and customs charges of circa 20% which must be paid by you before the goods will be released for delivery. Please accept our apologies for this, we neither voted for it or this lunatic government which made such a mess of it!

Standard Delivery: Orders placed on 'Standard Delivery' will usually be dispatched within 24hrs assuming the item is in stock.

We will endeavour to dispatch orders received by 3.00pm the same day for 48 hr tracked delivery (guaranteed next day delivery available with an extra charge). If we cannot make delivery within the time scale stated you will be notified immediately by phone or email to arrange another time for delivery, or, if you would prefer, to cancel you order. Small out of stock items may be placed on back order and will be despatched as soon as items become available again from stock. 

When delivery is made - shortages/damages must be notified within 14 days of receipt of goods. After this time it will be assumed that you have received all items (except those noted as being 'to follow' or 'on back order') in good order.

Urgent delivery: If you require goods urgently, it is best to call us to confirm items are in stock and are able to be dispatched and delivered within the required timescales. We will always do our best to meet these delivery requirements but offer no guarantees once the goods have been passed to the chosen delivery method supplier.
  

Standard Returns Policy

UNDER 14 DAYS

  • You can return your goods for a full refund or exchange as long as you inform us of your intention to return the goods within 14 days of purchase (Exclusions apply, see below.)
  • All return costs are down to the buyer and it is recommended that you return your items using a trackable method with appropriate insurance (if required).
  • Once we have approved your return, please ensure that you return the item within 14 days.
  • If a returns number is provided then please ensure that the parcel has this clearly marked.
  • Items need to be returned in "as new" condition in their original packaging. We don't mind if you open the product to check it, however any badly damaged packaging will incur a 25% handling fee so please take care when opening your items

AFTER 14 DAYS
  • We will not offer a refund after 14 days of purchase unless your product is faulty.

EXCLUSIONS FROM OUR RETURNS POLICY
  • Special order items (these items will be clearly identifiable).
  • Custom made items.
  • Products that include software which require activation.

If your product becomes faulty
UNDER 30 DAYS
  • If your items become faulty within 30 days of purchase you are entitled to a full refund or exchange. Please contact us and we will provide necessary returns details.
  • Please send the items back with a cover note including a description of the fault and your original order number.
  • Once we (or the manufacturer's appointed service providers) have fully tested the item and confirmed the fault, we will process the refund or exchange including cost of carriage back to us (within reason).
  • If during our testing we cannot find a fault, no refund will be given and you will be charged for delivery of the item back to you.

AFTER 30 DAYS
  • After 30 days you will still be able to get your faulty items repaired or replaced within the manufacturers warranty and we will be happy to assist you with this. Please contact us to find out the best way to get your items repaired or replaced. Please be aware that after 30 days we will not cover you for any carriage costs.

In a lot of cases with some products, faults can be fixed by performing some basic troubleshooting, so to prevent any further inconvenience to you we advise that you contact us and we can guide you through some basic troubleshooting before sending items back.

Product Warranty
All Colour Idea Limited T/A Wild View Cameras manufactured products carry a minimum of one years warranty. Colour Idea Limited T/A Wild View Cameras also acts as a retailer for other branded products and as such warranties are governed by those manufacturers as stated in their product descriptions, these can vary from one to two years.

SHOULD YOU NEED TO RETURN A FAULTY DEVICE UNDER WARRANTY

Please contact us first on 01225 703316 to discuss the issue, if necessary complete this form to include with your device. This may involve you returning the product at your expense direct to us or the manufacturer or UK representative for inspection, repair or replacement. The only exceptions to this are for items that are 'dead on arrival'. Your Statutory rights are not affected by these guarantees.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS, DELIVERY AND RETURNS

We are happy to supply equipment outside of the UK and orders to EU member countries and North America can be placed directly via our website. Shipping is via Royal Mail International Tracked and signed and can take up to 10 days. Please note we are unable to send batteries via this service.

DELIVERY COSTS
Delivery is shown at checkout and is priced according to value of the item. Royal Mail 1st/2nd class standard postage is used for items under £20 in value and are covered under Royal Mail's standard insurance.

Items over £20 value and up to £200 value are sent by Royal Mail 48 hour tracked or courier for larger orders and are insurance covered for at least the cost value of the goods.

Items over £250 are generally sent by Royal Mail 'Special Delivery’ or courier and are insurance covered for at least the cost value of the goods.

Postage discounts are not available other than on bulk purchases or by prior arrangement.
