Garden Camera CCTV Kit

This simple CCTV camera based kit is ideal as a general garden camera for covering an area upto 30 feet. Featuring a 3.6mm 1000TVL HD (976 x 582 pixels) CMOS with IR cut Camera which has a 70 degree angle lens capable of colour images by day, and 15 - 20 meters of infrared (IR) black & white images by night using it's built in 24 IR LEDs.

Fully waterproof, the camera is supplied with 30 metres of cable and is powered by a 12v indoor mains adaptor (supplied) which provides power to the camera down the same lead as the video input, so there is no need for power outside.

Either fix it on a shed or fascia board overlooking your bird feeder or garden and when you are ready to view, you can simply switch your TV to the appropriate input and view what is happening outside day or night without disturbing the wildlife.

Inside the house, the cable connects to a 12V DC power adaptor and the video connector can either plug into a spare AV/AUX socket on your TV, video / DVD recorder, or a spare scart socket using the supplied scart adaptor. Switch on the mains adaptor, select the appropriate AV channel on your TV and sit back and wait for the show to start. Optional PC / MAC connectivity also available.

The kit comes with a 30 metre weatherproof cable which needs to be routed into your property to connect to your TV or computer and the mains adaptor.
Please note that this will generally require drilling a 15-20mm hole through an external wall, air brick or window frame.
